Yesterday when my husband brought in the mail, he asked, "Do you know someone named Arizona?"
"Do you mean
azriona?" I asked.
Much to my great surprise, he handed me a letter from, sure enough,
azriona. Inside I found this:
(That's my laptop's compaq logo underneath it - not a giant C-shaped blemish in the bookmark, lol!)
Guh!
What an unexpected, unbelievable treat! I am just absolutely thrilled beyond words. I spent the afternoon playing with it, imitating David Tennant by insisting, "My TARDIS! Mine!" with an occasional lapse into LOL-cat-speak, "I can has TARDIS?" My son declared me a geek, but I suspect he's just jealous. ;-)
Thank you
azriona! This is quite possibly the coolest thing ever! Right now it's holding my place in Janet Evanovich's Fearless Fourteen, but it may later be migrating into a frame for my desk.
Oh, and my 7-year-old made a TARDIS bookmark of her own in school today:
azriona is obviously just as inspiring as is the TARDIS. *g*
So to my amazing DW friend (and to the sneaky, anonymous other friend who gave her my address): THANK YOU!! I'm still on cloud nine now, 24-hours-later. I don't know when I've ever gotten such a great surprise in the mail. *thinks on the last 20 years, which is about as far back as my memory will go* Nope, never. Thank you!!!
