How on flippin' earth are you supposed to convert that text to film? And don't remind me what Josh said about it's being Slaughterhouse Five for chicks; S5's very nonlinearity was its strength. But TTW?

It's either going to be brilliant, or a complete disaster. I'm holding out hope for brilliance.

They shot this movie so long ago, I wonder if the delay in releasing it was strictly because of distribution issues, or if they had trouble in the editing suite assembling it into something that was not nonsensical?

Oh they're making a movie of this? I read this book a few summers ago and loved it. Timeline is totally baffling at first though, wonder how they are going to handle that? But it was a wicked story.

It's one of my favorite movies ever! Claire and Henry's Chicago is MY Chicago. I've been to the same restaurants, same libraries, same parks, same concerts (the same ACTUAL concert! The Violent Femmes at the Aragon!) and I know at least one of the RL cameo characters that was included in the book!

So even if I didn't already adore the book for just being sheer genius storytelling, I'd be a bit fan anyway. ;-)
