Er, I think they mean SIMMERING with jealousy, LOL. There are few occasions where Hermione simpered at all, however I suppose if someone were going to pull off the previously unheard of task of simpering with jealousy, I'm sure she's quite capable. Brightest witch of her age, and all that.
