Alrighty, peeps.

We've thrown around the idea for awhile, but I'd like to start some plans.  How many of y'all would like to get together when HP Book 7 is released on July 21?  Our plan is to spend Saturday together hanging out, then get the book at midnight and take it back to the hotel rooms we'll share.  We can all read the books at our own

I'm gonna vote Boston because even though it's unlikely I'll be able to attend, it'll be *impossible* to go to LA at that time. I won't be able to get the time off nor have the money to fly out there. There's a bare chance I could make Boston, though.

I voted LA just because it's cheaper and obviously closer to home. Jason and I have discussed Boston and we're excited to go if that's what we decide. We haven't really "explored" the East Coast at all.

I'll have to wait till tomorrow to confirm with Goofy (he's asleep), but it sounds great to me! Boston is a near certainty, but LA is a possible. (Max is hoping for a get-together as well.)

I'm voting LA, simply because I will be in Dallas the week prior and San Diego the week after and won't have the time or energy to leave town in the middle. But it would be lovely to see you all!

I'm voting for Boston, simply because I know the release party in Harvard Square will be epic and also because I'd love to drag all of you around the city ONCE before I head off for foreign pastures. I would probably go to LA if that's the decision, unless it interferes with Kath's and my potential trip to Turkey. OMG, what if I'm in Turkey when DH comes out? Eeek! I would have to ignore all of you until I got home and read the book!
