Random Computer Question
I'm working on a compter situation at my Chicago office and am hoping some of you computer geeks might be able to answer a question.
How many computers can be linked via Windows XP Pro?
Background, in case it matters: Our office doesn't have a real server. We have a computer with a huge-ass hard drive which we use strictly as a file server, so that all files are saved on the same hard drive. They've been using Windows 2000 for 6 years now! We're upgrading to Windows XP now, Thank God, but need to make sure that we won't have any trouble linking our 10 computers to this one informal "server."
Anyone have an answer on this one, or does my question not even make sense?
