It would be lovely if Terry Gilliam were signed as the director, but the reality is it will never, ever happen in this lifetime.
If I were completely fangirlish, I'd now be writing a fanfic in which Terry Gilliam gets signed on as the director. Of course, nobody else would find the plot as fascinating as those of us who actually work in the entertainment industry and enjoy arguing our way through contract negotiations. ;-)
