playing with a dead end
Have you ever written something or played with the words KNOWING it will never go anywhere (see the light of day), but couldn't NOT play with it because it just keeps gnawing at you? That's me today. This has so many strikes against it before it can even get onto the screen/page, it's not worth the time, but I can't stop. I guess I should be glad I'm writing SOMETHING new, right?
