I also love Elizabeth, the Yorozuya kids, and madao gundam. Otose and Catherine should have their own fucking show, because I would be president of the fanclub.
ܟ OTHER FAVOURITE PAIRINGS?; I bleed GinZura, but I'm not adverse to shipping Zura around a bit within the series in different ways! One-sided/complicated as fuck Taka/Zura, Saka/Zura, Kondo/Zura, etc. Other than that I'm pretty gen in my tastes. I sort of peripherally ship SakaMutsu and OkiKag, but mostly I like older pairings that can have a history, so I end up gravitating back to the Joui4. HijiZura is my only guilty rarepair pleasure.

ܟ WHY GINZURA?; Oh, man. I couldn't even tell you. This crazy ship love happened like three years ago and has been going strong ever since! I love their chemistry, their history, their friendship, their bickering, and how their personalities and morals and humour play off one another. I like their problems and obstacles too -- the stuff they went through in the war, Gintoki's retarded PTSD, Zura's revolution bullshit and commitment to a dead cause. I love the different ways you can spin their stories, Kintama, war era, kids, AU, etc etc, but how their relationship is always the same. Even if I didn't ship them as a couple, I'd ship them as friends so hard it would hurt.
ܟ FAVOURITE GINZURA CANON MOMENTS; Prrrrobably Benizakura arc, and the one single serious joui war flashback we've got, but the okama episode and the cat arc are close behind. I don't really have a favourite, it's more like a culmination of history I'm into? They've been through all kind of crazy shit together -- growing up, growing older, growing sillier. Each canon moment they've got together is just another little snapshot of their lives.
