I'm Horrible!
I'm a terrible mother! I should be flogged with a wet noodle! *sob*
I left my baby kitten (who's now a year and a half old) outside all night long.
*hides face in shame* I feel so horrible.
We usually bring the cats in around 7 or 8, when it starts to get dark, but last night, Kumo ran up the tree. I figured to let him enjoy a bit more time outside and put on an episode of "Bones" to watch. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about the tyke and locked up after my show was over and went to bed.
This morning, Angie asked me if I knew where Kumo was. I started to panic. She went out back, and I went out front, and I couldn't find my baby. Then I heard the familiar jingle of his collar bell and sagged with relief. Angie had found him in the neighbor's yard, looking forlorn, she said.
Poor Kumo ran to his room and scarfed food like he hadn't eaten in days, then curled up in his favorite spot and zonked out.
I was sooooooooo glad to have him back, but I still feel a bit guilty.
