This be my final one, promise :) I wanted to do one on each of my days off, and it's been really fun coming up with things for my kids!
So Happy Anniversary sim_scenes! I still think it's such a cool community idea, and I've especially enjoyed the weekly challenge (and still refuse to believe it's been a year!). Like Jenn has said, simspiration seems to deal with the wordy side of Sims storytelling, while Sim Scenes tackles the pictures - and as I'm much often happier expressing myself with pictures rather than words it's been brilliant for me! Not only in helping my photography skills (which is SO has) but also rather than writing legacy drabbles, I've kinda been using it as a way of expressing them visually :) All my challenge entries have been with my own Legacy Sims, and all are in some way cannon to my story or at the very least true to the characters. For me, the weekly challenge has been a great way to explore my simmy characters much more in a different storytelling medium and it's been awesome fun - SO THANK YOU JENN AND ORI!
Now I'll be quiet and go to the park with the twins.
