Family Pictures
I've now realised why I was feeling so weird last night, I woke up with morning with a face full of phlegm, eurgh. Gorgeous image for you all! I can't remember what it's like to have an immune system, but I hear it's fun though. So I couldn't go into London today which was a bummer, but from my experience the stuffed fox looks much better sans mucus anyway :)
Chapter 34 progress is coming along slowly, it's kind of a love-hate relationship. There are times when I think "whoo yeah, this is so totally awesome and soooo relevant to my legacy!" and then I'll later drift into "wtf am I doing this for, this is far too much work for just fleshing out the backstories of bloody townies, no one cares anyway and it's pointless". So I only actually get anything done when I'm somewhere in the middle :) And I just want it to be really good in the end, so I'm taking longer on shots than I usually do so it's draaaagging.. I've shot about half and I would love to get it done by Christmas, but that'll depend on how much I'm here I guess.
Look I found a new journal style thing! I was looking for something Christmassy, but then I found SHARK-INNA-JAAAAR! How did I not see this before? It's even better than my mental bit of toast! That was my big achiement for the day, and taking some family group shots I'd been meaning to do for a while. I'm going to make them into paintings so all my little simsies can stare at their lovely faces, but thought I may as well share them here so you can see aaaaaaaaaaall the sims in my "current" rotation. I shoved on some nametags and family descriptions, because you're not me and have them all memorised, heh :)

Sid is responsible for decimating my population control in generation seven. The rule was you were allowed one child, two if you did something to please me but that was IT. So of course he's somehow managed to get four out of my weak moments.. I blame Amy for helping too. But I don't know much about their kids yet, the twins have only been kids for a morning and all I can summerise is that Callie likes jumping on beds. Oh, Ivan still likes biting things. EVERYONE LAUGH AT SID'S TAN!
THE SANCTUARY

So once upon a time there was this Sim called Evil Susan, right? She had a strong dislike of relationships, children, and most people she ever met. Therefore she ended up with two daughters (one with a freak amount of nice points) and the company of the awesome AWESOME Larch! The end.

Ara's family, and the only Sims my Boyfriend is allowed to name, therefore they get named after gambling and alcohol. Nice. J.D. is Ara's heir and yes his wife Gretchin is the same Gertchin that Blight is married to in the OWBC. Vegas is the only grandchild, so I feel a bit bad sometimes.. Because Becks and Jura are both Pleasure they don't want marriage and babies, but I did let Becks bring his long-term girlfriend Kat home with him from LFT so they can date and woohoo as much as they like. This presented a problem when the twins came home, because it meant there was no one for Jura, aww. He's cross at most things, but that especially so. So he's taken to stealing Kat while his brothers are at work, and luckily I like her so I don't mind - and the little love triangle just makes me laugh now :D

Shrews ahoy! Bramble became Vole's heir and married Jaz, but Bracks came along as well and is happily Romancing her way around the townie population. Though she keeps trying to have a baby which is a bit disturbing.. But ah, Bramb's daughter little Hedge-Berry. She started off being called Hedge, then I decided that was too mean so I changed it to Berry. But then I msised laughing at having a Sim called Hedge so I compromised :) Vole's oldest son Jimmy Shrew is still palceholding for me at LFT (because he's a pain). Darren in another life was actually Vee's father and the blonde downtown DJ, but now he just spends his days wandering into everyone's house uninvited, usually accompanied by Maid Mallory and I have to try very hard not to smite the both of them.
THE LABORATORY

I really enjoy playing this house, which is made up of some of Meloti's decendents. Wes and Kitty have always been a bit dopey and ignored, but their kdis and grandkids are made of win. Duck-faced Quentin became heir and married BV townie Lydia and they are such a sugar-y sweet couple and make me smile. Gwen's just always been one of my favourites, and now gets to play Cool Aunt now we've finished her 50 1st Dates. Dru is lovely, and already friends with the rest of the kids so you'll be seeing her again. And Isla's just preeeeetty! Because the naming theme in this line is vaugely Buffy-esqe the girls got their names from a mashing up Drusilla.

Yay it's BILLY! He's still the best little surrogate spawn ever (thank you Doc!) and is having a fight with Gadus for the Grandfather of my Game Award. He's great with Amy's kids too, and is just fab. So Metis got the heirdom as Amy got stolen, and he married Lydia, another BV townie. Io, or Fit Io as he is generally known, is a sweetehart and already the object of Lacey's childhood affections. He's already been in the background a few times and will probably stay close to the first circle like Dru. His younger brother Europa on the other hand is a bit scary, and rivals Ivan for the "jeeeezuz stay away from me!" factor. Huh, maybe they'll be friends?
THE MANOR
Owens
Also known as my back-up plot plan if needed, the Owenseseses are the last in the rotation. Norris thoroughly disapproves of Ysabelle's husband, as do most of generation six's boys actually! Oh gosh, the wedding pictures.. It was all free will as well! And Evil Susan's never met her brother-in-law or nephews, and in fact these guys have semi-ostresised themselves from the rest of the Strangetown and rarely mix with the other families. What will happen when blah blah blah insert Maxis-style leading questions HERE!

Of course I've also got Immortal Towers and The Watch hanging out over there, SimGin and her family, and various hanger-oners like Lisa's daughter Sam & co (her sons are placeholding), Vox's Allison and the Tricous. But they just get poked when needed at the moment. But there you go, that is the current population of my Strangetown!
