Introducing G7!

May 19, 2009 22:51

I'm feeling bits better now, which is nice. I don't think I'm going to go to Notts tomorrow, but I'm just pleased to be feeling on the mend.

I was thinking just now in the shower (as I always do) and I said to myself, "Self," I said, "you've never actually going to have the hours to upload all the millions of picspam college pictures, so just ignore it. DOOO IT."

So I do so. Plus 30 seems like quite a while ago anyway! So instead I shall do something fun that I actually can on a rubbish connection - show you pictures I already have loaded up! I got excited by the cuteness and squeed a couple of people last week therefore it is just silly not to share with everyone *nods*

LOOK GENERATION SEVEN WHOOOO!

(not amazing pictures because they all kind of grew up just as I had to leave the houses and move on, waa.)

Ok well first, technically the late member of G6.

Hallucigenia Tegenaria
Pisces 2 5 3 7 10

Look! Look, she looks different! Which I'm really excited about, she's got the same colouring and Vox and Marella but I think her features are much more on the Komei-side like Sid which is great :) She's also a lot shyer than them (yes, these days I consider 5 points shy. Oh for the days of Meni and Ocean!) but nicey nice.

Hallie is mostly around because I decided a couple of months ago it would be hilarious to call a Sim Hallucigenia, and that actually falls within my mini-theme for G6 which was Cambrian era species. Why do I like Hallucigenia? Because it's frickin' hilarious!

When the fossil was first discovered they thought it went upside down, oh the hilarity!

And also, I think it was.. someone (sorry :( ) who commented (I'm actually going to go and sort my boolprop thread out after this, zomgs) that it's kind of a little goodbye present for Gadus too, and to make his dying less sad for Cadence. Because y'know, she's going to be sad. Quick, occupy her with a child!

Ok, so actual Generation Seven! Or some of anyway! Let's start with Vox's alien babies.

Yes, plural :D

Myotis Tegenaria
Libra 7 10 4 5 10

Pipistrelle Tegenaria
Gemini 6 10 10 3 6

Twinnies! Huzzah huzzah. Yes alright I did it on purpose, but still :P You may or may not remember a while back I was fiddling around with PTs and ended up making my own set based on the space oddity eyes at Club Crymsin, and these two are the end result. I was kind of hoping for one of the other eyes, but they're ever so cute when it comes down to it that it doesn't really matter does it? Their personalities are pretty nice too, I was hoping for a few less nice points this time around but again, they're so cute I forgiiiiive them.

My mini-theme this time around is bats, and so Myotis is named after the genus of mouse-eared bats, and Pipi for my favourite bat species :) Pipistrelles are ever so tiny weeny and live in my church and garden in Essex.

D'aww.

Let us move on.

Ivan Tegenaria
Aries 10 9 4 6 0

It's the scary child with the very large head! No nice points, jaaayzuz. Even Evil Susan managed to have two! Therefore it probably come no surprise that he is Sid's alien son, and currently just scares me a lot. Also, thank goodness he and Vox got pollinated by different PTs, because even I probably couldn't cope with the confusing squick there.

Lacey Tegenaria
Aries 7 10 6 3 5

AKA the cutest toddler in Strangetown EVER. Er, I think it's a bit obvious who she belongs to because thankfully Tyler's genetics went stomp stomp stomp like I hoped they would and brought with them a world of sweetness. So yay! She's called Lacey because Marella is a lace crab, and that's the way my brain works :)  Her personality is actually exactly the same as Marella's, but one less playful point. I predict good times ahead!

I've prerolled them all but that I will keep quiet until the time comes, I've got to have something! But let's just say I'm very very happy with what they all rolled, except for one that just makes me laugh. And I like laughing so that's fine!

I'm rather excited by it all :)
