You know, I was mulling this over the other day, and the end of Yoshiwara is kind of a natural stopping point in the series - it may not be a bad thing that they end it in April - it wouldn't take much tweaking to make it a conclusion (not the conclusion, but a conclusion) then pick the series up again later once Sorachi finishes things. :P

I also think they're going to stop the series in April. It makes sense the way they're going, and even though Gintama is a hugely popular anime, I think they're building to a finish here...*is sad, but not surprised*

why a series that needs to follow the manga strictly like Naruto gets crappy fillers and a series like Gintama that won't be hurt from some fillers don't go that route.. is beyond me T_T

Ugh, I agree. Hell the first two episodes of Gintama WERE fillers, and the ones that they did do now and again were pretty good. No justice...*sigh*

Somehow I can see it progressing to an end too. at the rate they're going. ._. As much as I hate to see Gintama end. T__T
