How Weird Are You?
OOOOOOoooooh lala! I went to Otakon last weekend. I wouldn't say it was shitty, nor amazing. There were no awesome bands... I was really hoping that Puffy Ami Yumi would play there, but they didn't. They played @ the 930 club tonite. I wasn't able to get a ride though. What a bummer.
On Friday I was ready to go and cosplay. I WAS cosplaying as Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill vol.1. I had an awesome school girl outfit. Cost total: $10. I'm good at bargin shopping. And plus Amanda helped me create a kickk-ass mace last year. I even cosplayed her last year, mace and all. I get to Otakon and around 1 pm one of their staff members chases after me yelling, "Miss! Miss! You can't have that." So i'm all like what the fuck? I carried the same thing last year and nobody said anything to me. So they tested, hit staff members with it. Didn't hurt. but they still said it was dangerous, because of the chain. What am i going to do? Strangle someone? Mmmmmm, well >)
On Saturday I watched anime, went to the art gallery.... dealers room etc... That night i went to the rave and waltzed into the 110 degrees room and everythign seemed to fade away. I ended up watching the lights pulsate on the ceiling. So i grew bored and left the room. My friend grabbed me and we joined in with some people dancing. Very very fun. They were playing some good house and industrial but it seemed like most of the songs all had the same beat. It kinda made me feeel a bit miffed. I got over it. Then I got ditched by my ride. So me and my friend loked around for her. But no luck... So i caught a ride home. From that point on the night was stressful. I was so hot. I wanted to kill someone. Luckily, I cool off real quick. So i didn't harm anyone. And i don't have a temper problem. Unlike some halfro-headed sibling of mine.
Sunday i went to modeling school just like saturday. From 9 am to 1 pm... @_____@ i learned table etiquette and we practiced runway walking. MY friend picked me up, i went home and got changed. By then it was like 3 pm and there wouldn't have been anything open or happening @ con. So we chilled at Marley. I bought tons of books... well not tons. But enough to satisy my needs for a week or two. It was buy 4, get the 5th free. So i got Galaxy girl Panda boy, Snow Drop 2 & 3, Tarot Cafe, and Memoirs of a Geisha. So awesome... *excited*
