Ketchup is NOT Pasta Sauce

And once again we have two part thingy. Post thingy that is. Because frankly its a lot of pictures, once again its late and I'm tired. I didnt sleep well last night, bad dreams. Something about a talking set of bones that were in a lot of pain. Lets just say it was a really bad dream and go on to the happy stuff of pictures.

My sister rocks twelve different ways, and even harder on Sunday.
She sends me pirates in a box, how cool is that.

My rents are in Texas, wish them luck house hunting, now if only they could use the shotguns it would be easy as pie. Houses are easy targets.

On that note...

There is a part of scotland, a region if you will, called Angus. Yes I think thats where the term Angus beef comes from but dont quote me. Either way, the international office organized a tour for international students that went all around Angus. I will only give you the pictures from Arbroath Abbey today for the afor mentioned reasons, and to build suspense. Because I know you all are hanging on my every word.

By the way, its all true, those sterotypes about Asians with cameras... it was really funny.

Welcome to Arbroath Abbey.

Isnt it beautiful? Well guess what its ruins too! The little sign shows what it would look like if it hadnt been blown up by the Catholics so that the Protestants couldnt use it during the Reformation. I'm not really sure if thats what happened, but the monks were Scottish so you never know.

There is something really cool about ruins though. I like them a lot. Especially when I get to sit on a column. Yet its a column, and I'm sitting ON it. You dont sit on columns... unless they have fallen down.. either way it makes me happy.

A really neat picture that Kara took. I like the angle alot. Go Kara.

The neat thing was that not all of the buildings were destroyed. You could go into several towers and up a couple stair cases, and strangely enough the Abbots house was fine. Well, why dont we all go inside now?

That was actually the entrance to the most sacred part of the church, it had great acoustics in it, and we made a really creepy video of me singing Ring-a-Round the Rosey. I'll send it to anyone who is curious. It was pretty cool.

Some of the buildings even had windows. Heres one with a Kara and her banana in front of it. Unfortunately, the banana was consumed later in a tragic hunger incident. Sadness.

So I think international students have a thing for fireplaces... cus here we have another example of someone in a fireplace. Good thing none of them were lit.

It was a really lovely peaceful place, and thankfully the weather was amazing. Check out that sky.

The place had really good vibes for being partly destroyed. Here's one of the non destroyed walkways that overlooked the main part of the church... when there was a main part.

So that is really it for tonight. I enjoyed the Abbey very much, even if the silly Catholics blew it up so it wouldnt fall into enemy hands. Tomorrow I only have one class, so the rest of the pictures will be posted then. You'll get see Americans having too much fun. Bet you cant wait.

As a parting gift though, heres something special. A DOOR THAT LEADS TO NOWHERE!!!
