She's doing pretty good so far. Yesterday was her second treatment of chemo. I just got off the phone with her and she sounds lively. She has a lot more energy now but still gets tired out here and there. She's not as thin and has gotten some of her old weight back. That is the most relieving to us. She had wasted away to almost nothing before the surgery from not being able to eat or drink. The only weight to her before had been from the fluid build up and it was scary. So to see her with more meat on her bones is a welcome sight.
And for as long as I'm needed too I will keep helping out over there. I'm just not allowed to be there for a few days after each treatment. But I guess that gives me time to recharge.
