Job interviews

Random Note: I do have a life unrelated to my medication, I really do!

Our cat is pregnant! Kittens soon! <3

So... This Friday I had my first two job interviews for places where I might be doing my apprenticeships next year. I think they went fairly well, but I know at least one of the others who got interviewed (at both places, we have the same interests) and he's really good. Probably better at the things we'll have to do during our apprenticeships than I am. He's a really cool guy too, so I can't even hope he'll get rejected! We sent out 5 out of 6 the same applications, and the one that doesn't match is the place he wants most, so I can safely hope he'll get accepted at the NIFP, which is the place I didn't apply to.  ^_^

Anyway, I think the interviews went pretty well. I'm especially enthusiastic about the second one, but that's also the one where I have the lowest chance. See, the first one had only invited three people, while the second one had interviews all day... On the other hand, the second one does have two positions. As D. (the guy from above) said; it would be really awesome if the two of us would get those two, but the chances are fairly slim.

Oh well, I'll know by Wednesday and even if I don't get either position, I still have three letters that I haven't heard back from, and most places don't start the selection procedures until halfway April anyway. Who knows what other cool places I might still get invited to!

In other news, I think I reached a new height of procastration yesterday. I spend all day copying the music from at least 20 CD's to my old laptop (which has a CD drive), renaming each song in media player (sometimes having to look up both name and artist on the net), renaming each file to match how I keep the other files on my computer, emptying my MP3 player, putting the new files on my MP3 player, transferring the music to my netbook, pasting the files in my general music folder and finally going through all 2531 files to see if there were any doubles.
