Busy couple weeks
So on Tuesday my assignment working for the one county department is up and I go back to the previous one. Then on Thursday I'm attending an awards luncheon where a couple of us Workfirst types are being honored for not only getting through the program, but excelling out of it. I'll be giving a speech because they decided I was inspirational or something. Linda helped me write what I'm saying and we are so going to make people cry. :)
Then I have a picnic/fair at Agent K's old autism school on the weekend, and the following week I'm giving another speech at a black tie gala on behalf of a program that helped me. That one I'm definitely sweating because it's all strangers and a huge crowd.
After that is Halloween. Agent K is going as PacMan, and I'm going to be one of the Pac Ghosts. Should be fun.
But I'm definitely looking forward to things slowing down in November.
So...what else. Oh! Why does Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seem so terrible? I was really looking forward to that and it's really not good.
