Best news ever!
Whoo Hoo!!! Whee Hee!!! I had a pet scan on April 4th and got the results last Thursday. I AM CANCER FREE! Whoo HOO!! Lungs, brain, adrenal gland, all clear, no sign of cancer! I am so happy!!
Okay, enough with the exclamation point abuse, hehe. The facts are these: At this moment, I am cancer free. It may or may not come back, and it's going to take at least a couple of months before I am completely healed of all the side effects of the chemo and the steroids (assuming it doesn't come back in the meantime), but I am moving in the right direction. And, boy, am I looking forward to not having chemo brain anymore, and to being able to walk more than 10 feet at a time without pain. :-P
Anyway, I just want to say "Thank you!!!" to all of you who sent best wishes and good thoughts my way over the last 9 months. I couldn't have done this without you, believe me. Even when I didn't have the energy or focus to post or comment, I enjoyed reading your day-to-day posts, stories, etc. You kept me going when I was sad and gave me hope when I really needed it. So, again, thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are the best!
