(no subject)
oh my goodness.
it's been doing the whole "torrential downpour" thing a lot around here (hence the rain-dancing). so... i walk into my office this morning after girls prayer and then talking to dani, and the first thing i notice is lots and lots of what looks like little pieces of paper all over the ground. "hm, that's odd", methinks. then i take another step and see that my blue floor chair is entirely soaked. and my glitter baton is on it. so i'm thinkin the baton broke, which still doesnt explain the paper. i take another step and realize that WATER IS EVERYWHERE ON MY DESK. oh my word. i remember last summer at some point amy and i were working and all of the sudden, all heck broke loose in the storage room (which is where my office now is) and we realized that the torrential downpour that was going on outside was entering the room. so we grabbed some candy bowls and trash cans and made some catch-equipment, end of story. iguess nobody was around to hear the commotion caused by the falling ceiling (little pieces of paper) or heck breaking loose (water hitting various objects at a very high force-level)... because my stuff got veeerrry wet. i have no idea how my macbook is still working. it should have been right in the middle of it. so either the water got all up in here and it's still working anyway or jesus sent angels to protect the poor thing, but oh man.... i am just glad. haha.
