Finally!
I know how most of you feel about what I've been devoting my time to over the last year or so, but I wanted to share with you that I finished posting my Twilight story this afternoon.
In my time in HP fandom I wrote over 20 stories. This Twilight fanfiction is the longest thing I've ever wrote, and not only that, I finished it in less time than my other long WIPs and it's better written. I'm proud of it. Tremendously so. It's not perfect by any means, but I've learned so much from it and it's as close as I could get to o-fic while still hovering within the realms of fanfiction.
If you want to give it a read and then tell me what you think, I would really like that.

This story has 26 chapters + an epilogue. It began posting on October 30, 2008 (although I began writing it the first week of September that year.) It is over 170,000 words.
The story is archived on two sites. Fanfiction.net and Twilighted.net. Between the two sites, it has a combined review count of over 13,000.
The highest hit count was for chapter 25 at fanfiction.net... it was over 45,000. I'm seriously thinking I want some screencaps because... yeah... just totally unreal.
The story has won 3 awards.
The numbers completely floor me.
And through it all, sshg316 and deemichelle have been standing beside me and holding my hand. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
So, what now? I have an exchange fic to write... sorry, we're still talking Twilight fandom here. And then, I don't know. I've been toying with some o-fic ideas and I'd like to see where they take me.
Thank you, my friends, for being so awesome and supportive... even when I am off writing stuff for a fandom that makes you want to cringe. ;)

ETA: This is just for me, just so I have it listed somewhere, sorry it looks like bragging. Just ignore. I meant to add to my stats above that over 6600 people have the story on 'alert' and over 6300 have the story on their favorite's list over at ff.net. Over 3700 people have it on their favorite's list at Twilighted.
