I had a good day today. Hubby took me out for breakfast where I had this yummy eggs benedict thing that had fixings of a philly steak... mmmm. Hard to explain but it was very good. Probably because I was impressed that they managed to combine my two favourite foods. :)
Then he took me to get some needed accessories for my iPod and I used my birthday money from my mom to buy Dr. Horrible on DVD. Corny, cheesy, but I love the music and I'd been trying to get hubby to watch for ages, but he refused to watch it on the computer. He enjoyed it and kept making remarks like, "Oh! That song makes so much more sense now!" Cuz, I tend to listen to it in the car... frequently.
Then, I bought a springform pan and decided it was high time I learned how to bake a proper cheesecake. I read extensively last night and tried to decide the best way to do it. It's in the refrigerator and it looks yummy!!!
My mom called. My dad called.
My dad sent me Harry Potter: HBP game for the Wii. I looked at it, but I'm waiting before I play... gotta finish writing a fic first. The kids love the game though.
And I have spent the day reading lovely messages from people in both fandoms on LJ, forum boards, Twitter, gchat, & emails. :) Thank you all so much. You've truly helped make this a wonderful day.
