I love waking up to the sun shining and talking on the phone under the lilac tree. I love in the evening, when it's light past nine, riding my bike through the wooded Trestle trail. I love how in the summer you wake up feeling energized and you go to bed feeling like you've accomplished things. I love how for some reason, in the summer, you feel like spending more time with your friends, even the ones who usually annoy you. I love the smell and sounds of walking through the neighborhood, while people grill out in their back yards. I love sitting outside at night with Christmas lights lighting the umbrella table.
