I think X-Men ate my brain...

It's a proven fact that I can find a way to relate almost ANYTHING to my fandom or ship (seriously, ask Zoe. She knows.) and apparently not even cooking shows are safe anymore.
Everyone know Alton Brown? No? Too bad. Go find out.
Not really. I tell you. He hosts a show on the Food Network by the name of Good Eats, where he basically makes all of the things that normal people actually make (like toast, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, etc.)  and he shows you like five different things to do with that particular food, gives you the basic history of it, tells you the tools you'll need to make it, and generally is a very silly person.
ANYWAY
so on the particular episode which, like most TV shows I watch, even the ones I love, I'm only halfway paying attention to, he's teachin' us to make waffles. Yep. And the show starts off with someone making 'bad' waffles and he sneaks in and steals the bad waffle, and I look up RIGHT as he shows up in this silly costume to be this thing called 'The Waffler'
and my mind immediately went "OMFG MAGNETO".
*beats head into a wall*
Zoe, when you get back from being in Florida (lucky stupid bitch. D:::) and I retell you this story like five times, I think I'm sorry. I might not be.
*chokes on a carrot and falls over*

silly, x-men
