I was out grocery shopping and I randomly picked out new things to try because my mother complains that I eat the same flavours all the time. This is really just a note to myself on which ones not to buy again.
Nong Shim's Japanese Style Udon and Samyang's Chinese Soybean Paste Ramen
They look rather unappealing compared to he serving suggestions on the packaging. Would this be a case of false advertising?
Taste Notes:
Udon was pretty close of authentic japanese udon. Though I prefer udon at a restaurant or street vendor.
The chinese soybean paste ramen was bland. Do not buy again.
Because I ended up having to let my brother eat the rest having manage to burn something in the microwave, I made another ramen packet.
Nong Shim's Kimchi Ramen
Normally it should be easy to open a packet with your bare hands. This required scissors.
Taste Notes:
Nong Shim's other kimchi ramen is better. It didn't taste like kimchi much and it was just spicy overall. Do not buy this again.
