Been a mixed time recently. Went on my bike training on Wednesday which I thoroughly enjoyed but got a call half way through. My manager who has been on “leave” for the past couple of months died in a house fire the night before. Was a real shock. Had to go into work and inform everyone which is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. The staff, although obviously shocked, handled it well. In our line of work you just have to get on with it.
Friday went to see Hot Fuzz which was ace. Sunday went to see Night at the Museum which I enjoyed for all it’s mindless fun. Then when we came back on the spur of the moment we booked a holiday to Corfu in May. I think I need it.
Today I ran out of petrol then flattened my battery trying to start the bike again. Had to leave the bike in the driveway of my landlord who I randomly happened to break down in front of. Came home and feel like crying, I think the stress of the past week has finally caught up with me. Am so tired.
