I opened my fortune cookies I got from Pei Wei last night.....They gave me two even though I only ordered an appetizer. Score!
The first one: It is impossible to please everybody. Please yourself first!
*hello, the cookie obviously doesn't know anything about me. I found it appropriate as I gave up my plans last night to get Star Wars tickets. Have I mentioned I haven't even seen the first two and yet I now have tickets to the third one. I guess I will bite the bullet and watch the first two before May19.
The second one: You will always be surrounded by true friends.
* this is one of all my all time favorite fortune cookies:) It makes me happy to believe this. I love all my friends and feel very blessed to have them as part of my life. I take my friends seriously and have some of the oldest and dearest friends ever. You know the kind that you lose touch with for a year and when you do see them you pick up right where you left off... it's great. I am making more of an effort to not let my job come between my friends. It's hard with as many schedule changes I have and wierd hours I work. I am making more of an effort though because I know how much my friends mean to me and I need to show them that even if I can't spend a whole lot of time with them. (yea I think that was a runon! I don't care)
Oh, and if you add the standard "in bed" after each fortune...they are still pretty damn cool!
