Warm weather!
I am loving the weather! Yesterday I went running with Diana, Mainsy, and Wally in SHORTS. It was beautifully sunny and it felt like spring in my heart. Even though it is winter. Even though there is 6 more weeks of winter (ew gross). It was a great little preview of the weather I love.
I love my communication in ministry class. We have been talking about how we as Christians rarely evaluate the culture around us. Movies, art, literature, internet...all of these are included in that. Today in class we talked about how we have never really been taught how and why to evaluate media. Basically, we came to the conclusion that it takes work to decide what is right and what is wrong, and when it comes to entertainment, Christians want to be entertained just like everyone else. It happens all the time with me. I'll watch something without really considering what they are portraying as truth, love, beauty. Things like that. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, just ask me because I love to talk about it. It's very cool. And definately is something that I think is important. So...yea.
I finally finished East of Eden by John Steinbeck. It was very long. But very good. I love books that have a terrific ending, one that really brings everything back full circle. This book explores themes like good and evil and whether or not children are doomed to repeat their parents' mistakes. I know, I'm such a dork. But it was so good. So if you have patience, and like to read, I'd recommend it.
Bachelor picks: I say that Sarah Canada and Moana make it to the final two. Although it's really hard to tell about Moana. Hmmm I think she's still in my finals pick.
