Missing Person

When I joined the Collectibles Team at work just over nine years ago, I was welcomed warmly.  I made several strong friendships~~many of which have lasted almost a decade now.  One that has always stood out to be looked upon with fondness is my relationship with my friend Brent.  Even with stints for each of us in different branches of our vast department we always seem to be able to come back together seamlessly and with laughter.  We balance each other very well.  He always brings a jovial perspective to my sometimes intense seriousness.  My sensibility can always reel his wackiness back in.  We share a great passion for artwork, the Disney heritage, and Hot Tamales.

Brent recently moved back to his family home where, with the support of his family, he went back to school to study pharmacology.  He took a life with which he had begun to falter and turned down a new path.  He was happier than I had seen him in a couple of years.  He was focused.  He was excited.

Today we found out that Brent's family had filed a missing person's report on him.  He borrowed his brother's car on the evening of the 30th to go to work and has not been seen by his family since.  He has been a "No Call/No Show" for all of his shifts at work ever since that day.  I spent the better part of the day telling my cast members, asking if anyone had seen or heard from or of him, and walking people over to speak with the police.

Brent is a good person and despite the difficulties that he faced in recent years, he has always approached life with a cheerful attitude and an almost childlike faith.

I don't know what has happened but I implore each of you to send good thoughts via whichever method you find most appropriate.  Brent's family, both traditional and chosen, are frantic with worry.  And if any of you has any suggestions of how we might help or what might be done~~I am open to any ideas you may have.

Brent,
If there is some way that you are seeing this ~~please know that if you need help, we are here~~just please let us know that you are alright and tell us what we can do.  If you are not alright, please, please know that all of us~~your birth family, your Disney family, and all of your friends love you and we are searching and doing everything that we can think of to find you.  And I promise you that when you get back we have a date to the musical of your choice ~~and the biggest bag of Hot Tamales I can find is on me.
