You have just killed me with this wonderful story. The epilogue was exactly what I was hoping for. Love how different Florida!Kurt was from Lima!Kurt, so much more sure of himself and not afraid of his sexuality. I also loved his evolution from somewhat slutty into someone who realized he could have what he truly wanted, which was someone special who he could eventually be himself with. I also love how both boys just kind of put eachother in these "summer romance" boxes and never discussed where they were from or what they did at home. Hell, Kurt didn't even know Blaine's last name for the longest time! Of course, all that just made the ending sweeter.
i'm glad you made the point about him not being so afraid of his sexuality, because i think that was something i was definitely aiming for in how he was affected by his altered past, but i don't think i would say that he was a "slut" of any sort! he's a teenager having fun in his environment and it wasn't really the objective to make a statement of 'meeting the special person who finally makes you yourself/monogamous/good again' because i think kurt was definitely still himself with his friends and the boys he'd made out with, it was just that blaine broke through his line separating his summer and his home life selves.
and yes! summer romance boxes definitely apply. there's a lot of tentativeness with info-sharing in something like that that i wanted to explore. :)
