poetry
I am quickly becoming acutely aware of my inability to read poetry. I mean, poetic language and description is very nice and such, but I have a very hard time understanding the correct meaning. I often come up with my own general meaning, but fail to see the exact point the poet is trying to make. Well, one could be all "multiple interpretations, blah!", but I can't even really get anything other than surface meanings from poems.
Bah. I'm no poet, so I'm not really ashamed. It's just frustrating how long I have to look at poems before I get anything from them.
