A Bit of a Thaw?

Good evening. It has been a long while, and really not sure I'd come back. Not that I was tired of LJ per say, but I was tired of life in general. What I call God answers quickly though, even if I don't. Clearly I had reached a saturation point with life, suffice to say, we have "worked through" a few things, and set some goals. Small for now, but moveing forward...anyone interested may enjoy my posts on my personal health and the following goals...if you could care less...understood.

I did manage to lose 20lbs, and keep it off, and have recently lost another 5 lbs. and will be keeping it off as well. My exercise has been inconsistent, but it has been there. My eating has been inconsistent, but good decisions have been in there as well as a few more desserts than there should be. I am back to get consistent and steady again. I have a 3 mile route that I run/walk, and last night I was able to run most of it. I ran 2/3 of the 1st mile, walk/ran the next mile pretty evenly, and then was able to push through and fully run the last mile without walking. It felt great, and I am looking fwd to getting my strength training back underway. I want to be able to run full 3 miles by March 5th, increase to 5 miles by April 1st, and have enough strength built up to complete the 3.2 mile & obstacle run in the St. Jude's Warrior Dash on June 1st. These are the goals. Awesome numbers in the mean time would be great, but as I will regularly weigh in, my main focus is to complete these goals. If all goes well with the Warrior Dash, I may do the Ninja Mud run in mid-July, as well. We shall see.

Hope everyone is well.
