What's That?
A Second Look, You Say?
To Look Again, Not Away!
For This Must Be A Ruse, A Betray!
Why, My Voice Is The Seuss, A Rhyming Array!
Why Again? Again On This Day?
For Surely She's Fine! All Happy & Gay!
For There She Goes, Running!
That Child Spilling Laughter!
In The Garden, So Stunning!
She'll Live Happily Ever After!
Big Brown Doe Eyes, & Her Best Friend, Named Fun!
Her Prince, & Their Families, Not Yet 21!
And Their Song Was So Loud!
And Their Path Was So Clear!
But Then In Rolled The Cloud!
And Its Thunder So Near!
How They Screamed Out Loud!
But Neither Could Hear.
On Again With The Shroud.
It'd Be Their Last Year.
So Alone Now In Darkness.
All Her Bites & Her Gnashes.
Then Down With The Sickness.
Her Broken Soul, Not But Ashes.
Now Here HE Came! He Was The Great I AM!
White Hot Lightning & Thunder!
She'd Be Not The Same! She'd Be Out Of This Jam!
Just One Thought, Sent Her Demons Asunder!
Everything Was So Right, Now!
The World Was So Perfect!
Life Would Just Fall Into Place, How?
She Couldn't Help But Expect!
She Squirmed, And She Wiggled, & She Waited So Long.
And She Thought She Adjusted, Before Trusting The Next One.
But Suddenly There Was A Pain, Yes, Something Quite Wrong.
Rumbling & Humbling INDEED, Not At All Fun.
He Slapped Her With Words.
And Cut Her With Jibes.
But What Happened To Her Swords?
Her People? Her Tribes?
He Rambled & He Brambled & Incensed He Did Bray.
No Fear Would She Show, Not To Him, Not This Day.
He Lacked So Much Wit, His Nerves All A'Fray.
This Nicotine Fit, She'd Find The Funds To Belay.
Her People, You Say? Well They Thought That She Knew.
For It Seemed Clear As Day. He Had Something Askew.
But He'd Come So Far From His Own Faltered Way. She Wanted To See Him, See Him Come Through.
All Surrounded By Fire, Half His Demons At Bay. She Thought He Could Come, He Could Join Too.
Back Home Again, Home Again, Home Again Run!
For It'd Been Nigh A Lifetime Since She'd Seen Any Fun!
Where's The Garden? Where's The Girl? Where's The Warmth Of The Sun?
Where's That Beautiful Life That She Thought She'd Begun?
For Minute, She Thought, She Might Have Found Her Way.
Again, She Could Feel HIM, It Was Independence Day.
So Much Going For Her, And Welcomed To Stay.
But Her Feelings Were Damaged, All Raw & A'Fray.
Together They Stood & Tried To Be Understanding.
She Splintered Like Wood; Her Needs So Demanding.
Before She Knew They Were Loose, Her Daggers Were Landing.
She Was Reeling In Pain From That Last Fiery Branding.
Time Passed Away, And She Was Able To Settle.
But Not Without Fences, Much Like The Poison Nettle.
But The Breath She Breathes Now, With So Much More She Can See.
Is The Life That Brings Her To Laughter, Laughter And Glee.
Where Is That Child? That Running One, She?
Why She's There In The Garden, With A Flutter-bye Perched On Her Knee!
With The Warmth of The Son Gently Kissing Her Face.
Maybe This Time Will Be Better, And Not Such A Race.
As She Looks Around Her, Lifting The Glasses Of Flaw.
She Sees The Her That HE Wanted To Show Her, The Beauty Of HER, In The Raw.
While Her Auburn Curls Reflect The Sunset In It's Draw.
She Wishes You A Great Night, A Beautiful Night, Spent In Awe.
