Ch-ch-ch-changes...
Wow I can't believe I haven't posted anything in my LJ since June. So much has been happening, where to start...
I suppose my love life is a good place. I've been getting to know a certain young man very well. I had planned to be single for the next couple of years at least but I suppose life is unpredictable like that. He seemed so right (which it turns out he is) that it seemed silly to let that chance of happiness drift by.
Anyway, enough of that girly loved-up talk...
I have finally got my dissertation done after much toil and trouble. God knows if it is good enough. I keep having reoccuring dreams about getting crap marks and getting done for plagiarism.
I went to Fairport's Cropredy Convention the other weekend which was excellent. If you haven't heard of it (I hadn't) it's a folk festival organised by the folk-rock group Fairport Convention held in the tiny Oxfordshire village of Cropredy. I had an amazing time and was able to see my old favourites Steeleye Span. There was a great young Scottish band called Bodega (http://www.bodegaband.com) so I'll be sure to hunt out their album. Overall an excellent weekend with much jigging and cider drinking :).
What else has been happening?...Only the endless task of filling in job applications and attending interviews only to find out that they would have chosen you hadn't someone with an extra qualification or a certain type of experience been there. Oh well, if at first you don't succeed etc etc.
