So, Marie and I were having a discussion the other night about what to have for dinner when I asked her if she felt brave enough to serve Devon applesauce with dinner. She responded with something like, "Don't be silly. Applesauce isn't a side item, it's either a salad or a dessert." Now, this concept is completely new to me, because applesauce has always been a side item, and never a salad or a dessert. This question has never come up in the last twelve years because we have only recently started keeping applesauce in the house for Devon.
So, here's my question for the LiveJournal world.
