Visiting...
fifibloom was here from Friday night until this morning. On Friday we drank lots of cocktails and sang along to Elaine and Barbara, and I think I danced, and we watched Michael Ball videos and we sang some more and I may have shown her all my bruises, and we sang some more. It was lots of fun.
Then yesterday I felt very delicate in the morning. I took the car down to get the windscreen repaired, that was exciting. Then we sat around drinking tea and eating bagels. Then we pottered round town, had a meal, I bought a swirly skirt (oooh, it's pretty!) and came home to watch lots more videos. I think we managed Derren's Heist (which I liked much more the second time), Truly Madly Deeply, The Moonstone and about 4 episodes of Eccleston's Doctor Who. Yay.
Saw her off on the train this morning, after a big plateful of cooked breakfast in Sainsbury's. Mmm.
It's been foggy and wet all day.
It was a really nice weekend, and I'm so happy that Fiona's happy.
