I went to Wales. I told my mother about my quilt, and that it is only going to be made out of fabric I already have, and she gave me an old duvet cover that she was just taking out of the tumble dryer! It was my FAVOURITE as a child, and she still uses it. It's so seventies, it's awesome. It is going to be the backing of my new quilt! I am very excited as I LOVE the fabric, and because it's 35+ years old, it's as soft as you could possibly want. My quilt is going to be the most cheery-uppy happy quilt ever for the winter.

And now that a few days have gone past, my henna has calmed down a lot, and I think I like it, although my mother was not keen. It is definitely shinier, and it feels thicker too.
