So tonight it's the mega mammoth night of a billion and three dances or something.

I am also cooking.

Ali and Brian, quickstep. HA he just pulled the funniest face in the middle. Aww, I think this is a lovely routine, and I really liked the separated kicky bit. AWW and I love his little cheeky face. AW. My score (if Len can do it last week then SO CAN I!) 9.  Judges: 8/8/8/8

By the way, Brian and Ali were on ITT yesterday and she'd made him do his hair differently, and it was REALLY nice. As in REALLY nice.

Lynda and Darren, paso doble. HATE the music already, does not sound like a paso. And omygosh Darren's got his chest out!  I think Darren is one of our weakest pros these days - having watched a lot of Dancing with the Stars, I think we need to seriously upgrade our pros. Theirs are far more energetic and imaginative and creative. Anyway, hated the routine, I was bored and it didn't look like a paso. My score: 4. Judges: 5/7/7/6 (SEVEN? WTF?)

Chris and Ola, quickstep. Oooh I LOVE the song. He seems to be prancing a bit. I liked the routine, but I wish he'd dance with his mouth closed. He forgot the steps, aw! And he needs to point his feet on the kicky bits. My score; 6. Judges: 5/6/6/6

Zoe and James, paso doble. At least, I assume it's a paso because they're in red, but the music is SO not paso. I think James's little beard thing is possibly the most revolting thing I've seen. And I've seen Bruce Forsyth gyrating. Oh, they've finished. Apparently I didn't really watch that. My score: u (didn't watch) Judges: 7/8/8/8

Ravioli, quickstep. His trousers are enormous. Ew, awful song for a quickstep! Where's the elegance?  He has very heavy feet. Whaaaat? Splits and a cartwheel in a quickstep?  OH DEAR. (LOL, Craig just said that JUST after I typed it.) My score: 4.  Judges:  3/6/5/6

Natalie and Vincent, paso doble. Ooh I like her dress. Proper music, yay. Oops, that last rolly bit was a bit unfortunate, but apart from that, I really liked it. My score: 7. Judges:  6/7/8/7

Craig and Flavia, quickstep.  Hm, Flavia does choreograph some weird bits quite often. They took ages to get into hold. Once they did, I quite liked it. Lumpy though. My score: 5. Judges: (LOL! Craig just said he was lumpy. I AM BRAIN LINKED WITH CRAIG TONIGHT!)  4/6/6/5

Ricky W and Natalie, paso doble. Monkseal LOVES Natalie. She does do good faces. I don't like his posture. I like his attack and stuff though, and I like that it's proper music.  My score; 8. Judges: 8/9/9/9

Jade and Ian, quickstep. Oh no, more awful music. I like the big leapy bits. She's so tall though, I'd like to see more use of it. And WHAT was that wiggly shoulder bit in the middle?  Hm. My score: 7.  Judges: 7/8/8/8

Joe and Kristina, paso doble.  Ooh, what's Kristina done to her hair? I'm not sure I like it.  Oh dear, he's really going for the gimmicks now with the belt and the cloak!   It's a bit sad that Kristina got the "worst" one last year, so this year they gave her the most famous, potentially best one, and he's actually by far the worst, and loads worse than lovely John Sargeant.  My score: 3. Judges: 3/5/6/5

Laila and Anton, quickstep.  She really is very beautiful. Very nice routine and very classy. I liked it. My score: 7.  Judges: 8/8/7/7

I wish Strictly would do relay dances like on Dancing With The Stars. They're new this year and I really like them. (As well as their normal, main dance, they also do, say, a salsa, with four couples, and they get 30 seconds each, one leading into the other, and then the judges jointly rank them so that the top couple get 10, the next 8 and so on. It's fun to watch, and it gives them extra points, and it's a way of having a second dance without having to watch each one of them do their own separate routine.

Jo and Brenda, paso doble.  Her dress looks very boring, it's like something a middle aged lady would wear on holiday in Torremolinos.  OOOH this is a Bruce song! Being murdered. Oh dear, she's rubbish. She's worse than Joe I think. My score: 3. Judges: 3/6/6/5  How is Brenda being so supportive and nice? How? What happened? I quite like him. Does he fancy her? he keeps looking at her.

Phil and Katya, quickstep. I love the song. I think proper music makes SUCH a difference. I like his footwork, it looks very neat and bouncy. very much enjoyed that. My score: 7. Judges: 5/6/6/7

Ricky G and Erin, paso doble. Lol. He's not great but he's totally performing. I enjoy it. And a modern song works for once. Erin is very clever. And his footwork wasn't at all bad towards the end. Loads of energy and attack, my score; 7. Judges: 7/7/8/7

I wish our judges got to pick one to see again like on DWTS. I totally want to see that again.

Pro foxtrot thing. Was ok. The frocks looked like cakes.

Tess has really weird knees.

Pro Salsa. Aw, no Shouty Man/Fitty Flailing Lady!  It's new salsa pros, boo. I thought it was ok.

Old singing man. He isn't Bruce, so he's ok. He's got a horrid old man voice though. I don't care if it is Andy Williams. Matthew and Katya, and Lilia and Darren dancing, they're nice.

Results: Rav and Lynda in the bottom two. I'm pretty much ambivalent about which one goes. I would not be sorry to lose either. I'd keep Rav just because Aliona is new and Darren's had a lot of goes already. He so looks like a lego man. But based on that dance off I'd save Lynda, because Rav was dreadful.  AW Lynda looks happy! She was all *not enjoying it* a week or so ago, and now look at her. Still, she has to dance with Mr Plastic, poor woman.

It is a very freaky night on Strictly where the Best Dress award goes to Tess.

I made creamy cheesey baked eggs - butter a ramekin, crack an egg in. Add a couple of walnuts, and a bit chunk of blue cheese, pour some cream over the top and bake in a bain marie. GOSH THEY WERE TASTY!
