Back in February, there was a furore in Britain over the news that a 12-year-old boy had fathered a child with a 15-year-old girl.
There was much scepticism at the time, not least because the boy looked looked more like an eight-year-old, and because two other teenage boys claimed to have slept with the girl around the time the baby was conceived.
Last month, there were rumours that a DNA test had proven that the younger boy was not the father, but legal restrictions prevented the story from being made public. Those legal restrictions have now been lifted, and it is reported today that the father is in fact another teenager.
