All the linguistics
Well people, it's generally a high time for me to start complaining in my Journal. And it's all about studies and theories and lack of practice and doubts and generalizations and suppositions and again theories and so on like cycling. So far, complaints are about linguistic theories, which I either am unable to understand or they are given in somewhat strange way.
I feel OK for now, a bit more relaxed but still:
1. Semiotic approach to language;
2. Psychological approach to language;
3. Communicative approach to language;
4. Cognitive linguistics;
5. Generative grammar;
6. Discourse analysis;
7. Sociolinguistics;
8. Anthropological linguistics.
WHY?????? Isn't it obvious that language a WAY more complex than 40 years of research in more than a dozen areas?
