Work last night was actually somewhat... fun? I enjoy working the later shift because a lot of the tweens have cleared out by then, and I just focus on fashion and sales rather than policing and cleaning up after the fourteen year olds. We're doing inventory this week, so I'm scheduled after hours a lot. It's a bit tedious, but better than having to deal with customers the entire time.
I had to get my thyroid tested on Wednesday, to make sure I shouldn't be taking medication to speed it up. I got my blood drawn and thought I was going to be fine, but actually ended up getting a terrible headache and being tired all day. I don't know what happened.
Anyways, I finally got a call from the doctor today explaining that I'm "within normal range" for thyroid hormone production. This is reassuring because I don't have to take medication for the rest of my life. I still have to discuss the results because "normal range" can mean several things, just not medication. So good.
I don't have to work until Tuesday, so I've got some free time and hopefully will make it to the beach a couple of times. I'm thinking of having a garden party or some sort of cocktail thing at my house. If I did, who would come?
