I just wanted to pick out a couple of details for you that I absolutely love:
In the comic, an itty bitty piece of Ron remains visible in the panel in question, as if to say he can't be completely eclipsed by Severus, everyone has something to recommend them, something that makes them unique... Just in Ron's case, perhaps not so very much. 😆 In the lego artwork, however, there are no bothersome bits of Ron to contend with, oh no. Perfect solution in both cases. Love, love, love that to bits.
The buttons! OMG the buttons! 😂 (Dying here. 😷) The Slytherin brooch! 😃 Close up with my trusty Snape minifig for scale:
And the single shaved piece to make the eyelines more natural.
This is beautiful. Beautifully conceived, beautifully created and beautifully rendered, and an absolutely amazing gift.
