Hey hey hey!
So shit's in full swing and so am I. I started my externship last week. Suffice to say I'm exhausted. I'm not used to being that fast paced all day, but I'm sure I'll get used to it one way or another. ;D
But even so, I've started a couple projects. I found this plain pastel yellow blouse at the thirft store a couple of weeks ago, and I think it has a lot of potential. I'm going to remove the current collar and put on a pink faux fur one, add some lace around the cuffs and along the front, and I'm probably going to change the buttons to some cute heart shaped ones or something. I think it should be some fun. I've been thinking about sewing a lot of different things lately. I made a 1950's style apron that I still need to upload pictures of! It's really cute! I actually can sew when I put my mind to it, I just usually don't have the time necessary to commit to it haha!
Anyways, here's the blouse. The back of it has some cute pintucks, but of course I forgot to take pictures of it.
Very plain now, but I'll upload some pictures when I'm done with it!
I also got some jumbo braid lol. I want to make big clip on buns! Sounds weird, I know, but I think it'll be cute and easy to make. I can attach them to claw clips so I can clip them straight onto a wig or my real hair. They'll be really oversized, just how I want!
And speaking of wigs, look at the one I found! I think it's going to be super cute in the fall. I'm hoping to wear it with a btssb jsk I'm bidding on that has brown in the print, and kities XD
Lol I think it's funny how they blurbed out her face, I don't know why, but it just kinda struck me as comical. ?
And, nothing else of interest has happened to me.
