Showy show show
Saw Squirrel Nut Zippers tonight. They were a band I listened to my first year of college, and they played my favorite song. And while I was sort of embarrassed for going... cuz it seems cheesy, it was an awesome show. Fun.
They opened with a comedian/magician who was actually funny.... then Ravel's Bolero was played before they finally went on two hours late. Framed in a giant canvas photo frame, with steam punk video screens that later showcased the Ghost of Stephen Foster cartoon.
I didn't realize the band was in the audience with us before the show. And outside not being allowed in, when I showed up an hour late. After the show, they went back into the audience to have pictures taken from the stage. The audience turned around, they were mixed in, facing forward.
I think they have the devil in their pants. I love to dance around. Woo hoo...........
