In summary
Errr, so, a lot has happened in the last week but I've been really lazy to post about them. So I am kicking my lazy ass and posting right now because if I don't this LJ will probably die and I really don't want that to happen.
First off, last Saturday, my high school friends and I had our annual Oktoberfest although it was already November. (Who cares, I loved the alcohol!) I went with
overbending1, just as friends of course (...) and I had a grand, grand time catching up with everyone and playing cards and Taboo which was brought by
and_mysticism (who has yet to add me to her friends page). My team kicked ass! Thanks, of course to
ylielihan and Polly and Kla who were fantastic at making up clues and hints! Ahahahaha! And of course, I loved the alcohol!

Yesterday was an insane day at work, but I felt extra motivated for a reason that still escapes me. I was able to post 17 stories (I usually post around 12, and newspapers usually assign about three per editor) without getting a headache, or all whiny. And. And. I was still able to read some fanfic and read my f-list. Haha.
Speaking of friends, my friend jen_liz a.k.a. Tart is currently working on a Draco/Hermione story which I'm sure will be fantastic. I usually beta her Ron/Hermione (my one true OTP) stories but I can't help her now because I can't stand D/Hr. So, if you know a nice beta, someone who doesn't just correct typos and grammar slips but also volunteers ideas and some such stuff, please let me know? I'm feeling kind of guilty that I've had to decline the chance to work with
jen_liz who has never been anything but pleasant and super duper fun.
By the by, I'm betaing a Draco/Ginny story right now which is absolutely adorable. It's my first time to beta a D/G story although they are my het fanon OTP. It's written by
issania2 and has been posted both at TQP (where I am an assistant) and at the Fire and Ice Archives.
