I picked up my IELTS results today, and I got 8.5. Pretty good considering 9 is the top score. I was kind of scared that I'd fail... because that would just be downright embarassing since I write in English for a living. Well, I didn't, so there.
Why did I take the IELTS in the first place? See, I'm planning to go to grad school somewhere in UK. If things go well, I'll be leaving August next year. I feel guilty for not telling my family and real life friends earlier (will you ever forgive me for living under a rock these past months?) But the people who really know me will understand why I need to go.
I can't seem to stay put. I'm itching for a new environment, new challenges and new achievements. Bored? Probably. Compelled to widen my horizons? Most definitely.
