Patricia, meet futsal

Aug 15, 2007 01:36

Tuesday was a productive day.  It was also a lovely, lovely day. The highlight was being able to play futsal (indoor football) with my Inquirer pals, though we had to meet up at 11 p.m.  Damn newspaper work schedule!  I missed them, though, so I didn’t mind having to play until midnight… I’m still awake, aren’t I... even if I did wake up at 4:00 a.m. to prepare for my regular badminton game.  (I’ve been awake and hyperactive for 21 hours?)

I got to play 5 mean sets of badmiton with GMA mates and it was exhausting, in a good way.  Then I went to work at 9:20-ish, where the most exciting event was attending the company’s first semester financial results briefing.  Net income grew 23 percent to P1.126 billion.  Who cares right?

After work I met up with my church group and we had a lovely time catching up.  We laughed, shared and discussed for the most part, but someone did cry (aww…) I love this group.

Then it was me and my reunion with football, which I last played in senior year of high school.

What a beautiful day, meeting with the ladies in my life.  Inquirer peeps, I missed you so much.  Hugs and kisses to all of you!  I hope to join you again as I really want this to be a monthly thing for me.  But seriously, 11 p.m. to midnight is so not on!  I still love you, though.

Email me those pictures with us all sweaty and disheveled but still marvelous and beautiful!  Especially the one where I’m in my backbend position!
