The "folly" of beauty pageants
I've never been a fan of beauty pageants because a) I do not like the idea of women parading around and being ranked according to "desirability," and, I will be brutally honest here, b) there's a bit of bitterness in me because of the fact that I will never be beauty pageant material. So, be warned that I am not the most objective person to discuss this matter with.
But damn is this funny.
Let me just reiterate that this girl won the contest despite that idiotic answer she gave. Yeah. I've never believed that beauty pageant organizers picked winners for their brainz, but they should at least have continued the pretense!
Here's another one, from the same contest, who also won. This girl admitted in front of national television that she's into necrophilia. Hehehe. And the one she finds most desirable? Mother Teresa, of course! Unfortunately, the person who uploaded has disabled embedding of the video so I can only give you a link. Boo.
However, let me stress the fact that my country's women are damn fine. No arguments there!
