(no subject)
So yesterday I had my French oral. It didn't go so badly, but I guess I must have looked really bad before I went in cos Mr Gough asked if I was ok in a really "don't pass out now" voice. I don't think I did too well on my general questions but I managed to get a few decent grammatical structures in. I got several pluperfects into the picture story and even a subjunctive (although pronounced wrongly I suspect). I GOT WILD BOAR IN! In my picture story I had a birthday at a French friend's house and went to a restaurant for an evening meal and ate wild boar (like Asterix may I add) and drank coke. Yummy. Afterwards he said I used some complex structures and corrected myself when i made a mistake so must have been alright.
Today got a load of past papers for chemistry and physics to do over the Easter holidays. What fun.
D of E kit check tomorrow. We're supposed to have packed all of our stuff minus food and bring it school tomorrow so it can be checked to make sure we've got appropriate stuff. That includes clothes including the stuff we'll wear on the first day.
There is no way I'm taking spare underwear into school.
