addendum
Got a little "anonymous" comment on my last entry. Something really charming about "man-hating," and I just want to address it quickly since I deleted it.
Any kind of feminism or, really, any -ism that is about hating anyone is not my speed. "Man-hating" feminism just makes no sense to me, honestly. Some of the most enlightened and fabulous feminists I've known have been men. And middle class heterosexual able-bodied white men, no less. I realize that some women, victims of sexual violence or domestic violence, or groups of lesbians, or feminist utopians may find great power in the idea of separatism, and I totally support them in whatever world view they wish to have, but it just ain't my particular cup of tea.
Dude, I'm so not about exclusion. And I'm sure you aren't either. I love men. I love women. I love you. Even you, you funny anonymous comment-leaver, I probably would love you too. Babe, it's all about the love.
